Alan Jackson’s Daughter Arrested On Charges Of Resisting Arrest, Assault, And Underage Drinking
Alan Jackson’s daughter, Alexandra Jane Jackson, was arrested early Wednesday morning after police said she assaulted an officer during a traffic stop. WTVF in Nashville reports that Alexandra, age 20, was released on bond just before 5 a.m. Wednesday after being booked on charges of resisting arrest, assault, and underage drinking.
Police said she was a passenger in an SUV that was pulled over for speeding on 12th Avenue South. According to an affidavit, she got out of the vehicle and began arguing with officers.
Police said she refused commands to get back inside the vehicle, and then hit one of the officers in the chest.
After being cuffed, the affidavit said Jackson told police that “Her father would do anything she wanted him to do,” but officers warned her about bribery.
She was released on $35,000 bond. A court date was set for September 23.
