Tim McGraw Says Patience Is The Key To Parenting

As Father’s Day approaches this weekend, Tim McGraw – father of three teenage girls – says he actually learns a lot from his kids. Tim McGraw says, “I think that probably the biggest thing that I’m still always working on is having a house full of women is learning patience. I’ve never been a very patient person so I think either I’m getting mellower with age or they’re teaching me patience. It’s one or the other. I’m not sure which one it is… Probably a combination of both.”

Tim McGraw also continues to climbs to the top of the Billboard and Mediabase charts this past week with “Highway Don’t Care,” featuring Taylor Swift, along with Keith Urban on guitar. The track has sold over one million downloads. The song is Tim’s 34th career Number One song and second consecutive chart-topper from his current Two Lanes of Freedom CD.

Tim said, “I thought this song had the potential to be really special the very first time I heard the demo. And then standing on the stage with Taylor and Keith performing it live for the first time on the ACMs, I knew that it was really the kind of magical collaboration that only comes along every few years. The energy that night was undeniable . . . I know the three of us could feel it. Radio continues to be supportive and excited about the music we’re giving them, and I’m so thankful for my friends there and for all the fans who have really taken this thing to the next level. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger in our show every night.”
