While you are at the Tim McGraw show at DTE Energy Music Theater this Sunday, don’t forget to have your DVR’s set for McGraw’s CBS special, it is guaranteed to be filled with all-stars. ACM Presents: Tim McGraw’s Superstar Summer Night was filmed in April at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and has performances from Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and many more.
Tim McGraw told us which performance was his favorite. He said, “Florida Georgia Line and Nelly was really cool. That’s one of my favorite things on the radio right now. Gosh, all of them. My wife’s (Faith Hill) performance sort of blew me away. It kinda caught me off guard when she went out there because she sorta upped the game. I had to go out behind her and she did pretty awesome, so her performance was great. Singing with Ne-Yo was something that was really cool for me because he instantly – he’s like playing tennis with somebody –or any sort of sport – you always play better if you’re against a better opponent or somebody that’s really good and makes your game better. He’s that kind of singer. When you sing with him, instantly I became a better singer the minute I started singing with him. He’s just that good. He’s so good he spreads it around everybody.”
In other Tim McGraw news, Tim came to the rescue of a fan in the front rows that passed out of heat exhaustion while at the tour stop in Atlanta. McGraw stopped the show came done to her and made sure she was all right. The woman later said to local media, “I remember waking up and there was Tim McGraw sitting in front of me, handing me water.”
