“Nashville’s” Connie Britton Discusses Adopting As A ‘Single Mom’


Nashville‘s leading lady, Connie Britton is walking on air these days! Word out just this week that ABC has renewed the highly rated show about the ‘business of country music‘ for another season. But the 46-year-old actresses biggest accomplishment, is most likely realizing her lifelong dream of being a mom, by adopting her son named Eyob!

Back in November 2011, when Connie Britton decided to adopt her son Eyob (pronounced Yoby) from Ethiopia, she wasn’t married or in a relationship, but she says the decision to become a single parent wasn’t a difficult one for her at all:

Most adopted kids relish the fact that they were actually ‘chosen’ by their parents.
