Thomas Rhett joined The Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald to share with us his work with Outnumber Hunger. This charity, along with Big Machine Records and General Mills, is working to help feed the hungry. Thomas shares, “It’s a very simple program to help get rid of hunger. Every time you go to the grocery store and buy any General Mills product, you can go online and enter the code on the box and it will secure 5 meals for your local food bank.”

Thomas Rhett is also been enjoying the success of his latest single he has written for Jason Aldean, 1994. When asked what he wants to do with the money from the song’s success, Rhett says, ” My wife and I want to buy some land and build a nice house, maybe a pond with a floating island in the middle so I can hit golf balls onto it.”

In the song 1994, Joe Diffie is a very important piece of the song. When asked why he chose Joe Diffie, Rhett says, “I wish there was some crazy story I could tell you as to why I chose him, but there’s not. I did talk with Joe’s booking agent recently and he said that Joe has been booked for more shows in the last 6 months then he has in the past couple years.”
