Digital Detox!

Could you survive a digital detox? A summer camp for grown-ups is challenging adults’ obsession with technology by stripping them of it altogether for four whole days. While this sounds kind of funny, think about this for a minute. NO cell phone, no computer, tablet or internet connection whatsoever. We truly have become so addicted to being ‘connected’ via technology, that for many people…having a face to face, one on one connection with a live person is becoming more difficult!

Camp Grounded is in Anderson Valley, California and is a digital detox experience, with zero access to phones, tablets, and other technology, and where campers are not even allowed to talk about work. And as part of the program, everyone must use nicknames, to prevent people from using the camp as a networking opportunity.

The retreat costs $340 per person.

Would you or could you give up your cell phone and the internet entirely for 4 whole days?
