Email Wedding Invites: OK Or Not?

If you received a wedding invitation by email, how would you feel? More and more couples are choosing to email invitations and the debate is heating up. Call me old-fashioned, but I personally think that a wedding invitation should definitely be sent through regular mail, and not in an email….

For the mobile and mostly under-40 crowd, chic services like Paperless Post and Evite offer a cheap, environmentally friendly option – and allow guests to instantly RSVP online. But critics say that the invites are too informal.

Maybe the day will eventually come where people do not mail invitations at all…or maybe we will not even have home mail delivery service anymore, but until that day comes, I think any formal invitations should still be mailed individually to the intended guests.

If you received a wedding invitation by email, how would you feel?
