Thomas Rhett Was Born With Country Music ‘In His Blood’

Known by his stage name Thomas Rhett, some may not be aware that Rhett is the son of singer-songwriter Rhett Akins. And quite an accomplished songwriter already.  Rhett co-wrote the song “I Ain’t Ready to Quit” on Jason Aldean‘s 2010 album My Kinda Party and in early 2012, he released his debut single, “Something to Do with My Hands”, followed by his latest song, “Beer with Jesus,” which garnered quite a bit of attention right from the start due to the title.

Thomas RhettYou can see Thomas Rhett this summer at the Faster Horses Festival, where he will be performing on July 21st. We had a chance to sit down with Thomas and get to know him a little better while at the ACM awards in Las Vegas, and really like this down-to-earth and talented guy!

Here’s Thomas Rhett and his music video for “Beer With Jesus.”

This song REALLY makes me think….what would YOU talk about if you were able to spend some time and have a “Beer With Jesus?”
