The research appears in the journal Psychological Science and suggests that maintaining emotional balance is crucial to avoiding mental health problems later in life.
Long lines at the grocery store, aggressive drivers on the highway, crappy weather, getting a flat tire….these things are bound to happen so why get all worked up and stressed out about them? When you feel your blood pressure rising when things are not going smooth and easy, try to remember that letting these minor irritations get the best of you, can ruin more than you mood!
