Proof That Women Work Harder Than Men!

Ladies: Did we really need proof? A new study says: Women employees work harder and longer than men do. The Ponemon Institute who conducted this study now report that among the subjects that took part in trials across the U.S., females consistently worked for a longer period of time during a ten-minute experiment than their male colleagues. Do you work longer and harder than your male counterparts?

The same researchers  also discovered that men are even less productive when women are around.

While I personally think that women today do work harder, I think it is because women still feel that they are primarily responsible for the majority of household chores, even if they work longer hours than their spouse. If the house is dirty, it’s still usually the woman who feels that it is a negative reflection on her, not her husband.  A guys idea of clean is much different from a woman’s, at least in my house it is! My husband is retired and stays home now taking care of his terminally ill 91 year-old Dad who requires 24/7 care. He keeps the house ‘tidy’ and claims I am just way too picky about house cleaning and he just does not see things  the way I do.  Since I work long hours and have a 2 hour daily commute, I do not want to spend my weekends cleaning the house to ‘my standards’ so we now pay a close friend to deep clean the house twice a month.

Do you think that in general, that women DO work harder and longer than men do? Or not?
