Joe Nichols Headlines The 2013 Downtown Hoedown!

The 2013 Downtown Hoedown will be from May 31st through June 2nd on the grounds around Comerica Park. This is the second year the Downtown Hoedown is at Comerica Park, offering more space with access to part of the concourse, concessions and bathrooms! Thanks to our sponsors RAM Truck Brand and Coca-Cola, we have a great lineup again this year.

This year, Uncle Kracker, Jake Owen and Joe Nichols will be here along other national acts and over 20 local bands! Joe Nichols talks with The Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald about this years Downtown Hoedown! Nichols will headline on Sunday night with Phil Vassar, Aaron Lewis and American Idol Alum, Casey James. Nichols says, “Man I’m very excited about playing Hoedown. I’ve played it a couple of times before. I’ve always had a great time the crowd is amazing.”

Nichols also went on to say how excited he was to play new music for us. He talks about Detroit and what he likes about this city. “I love the enthusiasm of the sports world up there most of all. The Red Wings, The Tigers, it’s a sports city! Also their fashion for Country Music.”
