The average mother spends a staggering four months of their her life ironing! A new study has found that the pile of clothes that a mother irons in a lifetime is two miles tall. That is crazy when you think about it! So there is more truth than jest when I tell my daughter’s all the time, “A woman’s work is never done!”
The study also discovered that women still do all of the ironing in four out of five households across and nearly half said their husband or boyfriend has ‘never’ spent time in front of the ironing board. And we can tell.
To be honest, I am one of the lucky ones, whose husband does iron, and does a great job too! My husband spent 2 years in the Army right our of high school, and that was just one of the life skills that he learned well while in the military!
