Breaking up is never easy….and much worse when it happens in the public eye. It’s now been a little over a month since Taylor Swift and Harry Styles from the boy band One Direction decided to call it quits. Well Harry is now talking about their breakup and what he thinks about Taylor’s ‘British accent‘ that may have been a very public dig at him during her GRAMMY performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”…
In a radio interview with London’s Capitol FM on Monday (Feb. 17), Styles, 18, spoke about life since the split:
“I’m okay, thank you for asking. I’m good.”
When asked what he thought, Styles opened up about Swift’s dig at him during the GRAMMY Awards — you know, the one where it sure did seem like she was mocking his British accent while performing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, “ and he very diplomatically answered:
“She knows what she’s doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good.”
I for one, am pretty impressed by his kind words about his ex Taylor Swift. He obviously learned that “if you have nothing nice to say, it’s best to say nothing at all,” and this is quite a mature way to take the high road!
If an ‘ex’ did something that upset you, did you choose to ‘get even’ or ‘take the high road?”
