Ten Man Jam Artist Ashley Monroe Releases Duet With Blake Shelton

Ashley Monroe borrows Miranda Lambert’s husband Blake Shelton for her excellent new song “You Ain’t Dolly (And You Ain’t Porter).”

The fellow Pistol Annies member is gearing up for the release of her upcoming solo album Like A Rose due out March 5 and recorded the twangy and comical throwback with The Voice coach.

Monroe and Shelton trade lines on the tongue-in-cheek track.

“You’ll probably see me country singing on The Voice someday,” Monroe sings.

“Yeah, and I’m the guy they wrote about in 50 Shades of Grey,” Shelton sings back.

“It’s borderline mean, but we love each other, so it isn’t,” Monroe told USA Today.

While Monroe is gearing up for her solo release Lambert recently revealed that the Pistol Annies will soon return with a new album. The trio, which consists of Lambert, Monroe and Angaleena Presley, just finished recording their sophomore follow-up to 2011’s Hell On Heels.

“It’ll be out in a couple months,” Lambert told The Hollywood Reporter.

Ashley Monroe’s Like A Rose is due out March 5.
