The super sad saga continues for Mindy McCready.  Still reeling after the January 13, 2013  death of her live-in boyfriend David Wilson, who is also the father of her 9-month old son Zayne, even more tragic news just in.

E! News is reporting that The Department Of Human Services took both of Mindy’s young boys, Zayne and 5-year-old Zander, into protective custody yesterday after a judge ordered that the country singer be committed to a to a treatment facility for a mental-health and alcohol-abuse evaluation.

Sources exclusively confirm to E! News:

“Family members sought to have Mindy committed to a mental-health facility and there was an emergency hearing today,” says a source. “They just got out of court a little while ago and the judge committed her for up to 21 days.”

Results of an autopsy on 34-year-old Davis Wilson have not yet been completed or released, and the official cause of death not yet determined. It was a spokesperson for McCready who initially told news sources that Wilson died from ” self-inflicted gunshot”. According to local authorities in Arkansas, the death is still under investigation.
