‘Being Home’ Almost Feels Strange For Florida Georgia Line

While most of imagine a super glamorous life of a country star, the reality of life on the road is much different than what we would picture. Most often, country singers arrive in a new town and really do not have time to do any sight-seeing or have much ‘free time’ at all. They hang out in their bus or in the venue dressing room, waiting to do their sound-check and then hit the stage to perform. Our buddies Brian and Tyler of Florida Georgia Line tell us that they spend so much time on the road, that when they do get a chance to come home for a day or two, it’s almost strange….

Brain recalls one time he came home after a long run on the road and he says, “I walked through the door and I honestly didn’t know what to do. I sat down on the couch and kinda tried to take a deep breath and try to figure out what just happened in the past three weeks ‘cause it was not much sleep, one thing to the next to the next to the next and I didn’t know what to do.”

Florida Georgia Line won’t be spending much ‘strange time at home’ this year either, as they are currently out on the road with Luke Bryan on the Dirt Road Diaries Tour, that will keep them busy through October. In what sounds like a working type mini-vacation, the guys just got back from Cancun where they filmed the video for their new song, “Get Your Shine On,” which will debut in the coming weeks!
