New Music Spotlight: Rascal Flatts – “Changed”

Recently we talked to Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts, and of  “Changed”, their 8th album, and 2nd for Big Machine Records, he said “A great title for the album, great name for the tour, and it describes accurately the direction (Rascal Flatts) is going… that (the group) have evolved a lot through the years, and that the word ‘changed’ embodies a lot of what Rascal Flatts has gone through, and the evolution of where we are now, and we’ve got something good now and (the band) is very blessed.”

“Changed”, the song, is another power ballad from the popular trio about finding one’s self through tragedy, which has been the theme of so many of their biggest hits.  In “Changed”, Gary LeVox‘ power vocal tells the story of how he’s been to the bottom and has found faith when you just let go and essentially, let God.

Take a listen to “Changed” by Rascal Flatts and tell us what you think of it in today’s New Music Spotlight poll below.
