Is it REALLY possible to completely puppy proof a house?  My wife Casey and I are just 6 weeks away from picking up our German Shepard puppy, Bear.  While puppies aren’t new to either of us, it still has been quite some time since our last puppy.  Are there any new tricks our products that make puppy training, easier? Hopefully you can help.

6 weeks from now, we finally get to take home cute little Bear from Kolenda Kennels in Dorr, Mi.  While we don’t know which one Bear is yet, we do know there are tons of things we need to do to prepare our home.  We have picked up a few baby gates to block of certain areas.  We bought a nice kennel to train him to sleep in at night, and we are currently researching the best puppy food available.

We are also trying to find new products that make house training, easier.  We have seen the “wee-wee pads,” but not sure if they are worth the money some of them cost.  Are there any products you use that are worth the money when it comes to training a puppy?  We would love your help!
