The ‘Bright Side’ Of Teens On Twitter

How cool is this, truly the ‘bright side of Twitter!’ A student in Iowa City, Iowa has been working to change the perception that high school is horrible. Jeremiah Anthony, a student from West High School, has started an unofficial Twitter feed that focuses on sending compliments to the school’s students. It has been praised by locals as a way to support students who are having a rough day. Maybe other teens will follow his lead and start sending positive messages to classmates too! How cool would that be, if this became a new trend with teens!

A couple examples of Anthony’s positive messages:

–Incredible you know more about basketball than just about anyone, whether its high school or pro you know your stuff.

–You don’t get enough recognition so on behalf of West, thank you. Thank you for your unselfish attitude and bright smile.

High school can be a super tough time for teens. Trying to find your way in life and figure out who you are and where you are going. Some love high school, others hate it.

How much money would it take for you to go back to high school?
