It’s been less than a year since Kenny Chesney released his 2012 album Welcome To The Fishbowl, but today he announced he’s already got a new one ready to go. And he’s even set a date for the release.
“It’s gonna be an amazing summer and I’m really excited to bring some new music to No Shoes Nation,” Chesney said in the statement.
The album has no official title yet, but the release date has been set for April 30. Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville Records will release the record.

The album will arrive just after the start of Chesney’s No Shoes Nation Tour, which kicks off March 16 in Tampa, Florida. So fans can obviously expect to hear some new material at the shows. The artists touring with Kenny this year are Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, Eli Young Band, and Kacey Musgraves.

And speaking of No Shoes Nation, Chesney has also added 28 new dates to the tour. These include stops in Charlotte, Las Vegas, Toronto, and a couple cities in California (see the full list of tour dates).
