Everything changes once a baby is on its way! Prince William and Kate are now looking for help for their home in Kensington Palace. The applicant must be willing to keep their home clean, tend to the glass and silverware and run errands. The job includes walking Lupo, their cocker spaniel. Shortly after their marriage in 2011, the royal couple decided against household help. They still have no plans to hire a nanny once the baby (or babies if it’s twins!), but the housework is another story…
Now, as they are expecting their first child and preparing to move into their new, larger apartment, 1A in Kensington Palace, they’re ready for some assistance. And it probably is a good idea, since they can definitely afford to hire help and lighten the load at home.
I personally don’t think there is anything wrong with hiring help when necessary if you can afford to do so. Why not? You are giving someone else an opportunity to make money, and it can free up time to do other things that need to be done. The Royal couple still have obligations, and I can only imagine how busy their lives are! hopefully Kate is feeling better after her serious morning sickness illness that had her hospitalized for so long at the beginning of her pregnancy. It’s probably best that she still take it easy too!
If you could afford to hire help around your house, what would you want to pay and have done for you?
