Well this sure is great news for people like me, who never get 8 hours of sleep each night! While my husband claims he is a total wreck unless he gets a full eight hours of sleep, I have been doing just fine by getting 6 hours on a good night! The Sleep Council says just one in ten of us always gets a good night’s rest and recent studies have shown people who sleep for six to seven hours a night live the longest! And according to experts, if you reduced your sleep from eight to seven hours a night, not only might you feel more alert and live longer, but you’d have an extra seven hours to spend on your favorite activities each week to boot. Amen to that!
I feel like a million buck when I get 6 hours sleep, and seem to feel pretty good if I get just 5 hours sleep too.
