I’ll admit I have regifted a present before, but that was what I was supposed to do. Have you ever heard of “White Elephant” gifting for a party? It’s where you bring a gift you got from someone else or something you have at home that you no longer want. Then you wrap it up and give it away at the party. I was recently at a party where I gave away my curio cabinet and people went crazy for it! Hey, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

Regifting can be funny, but one man in Illinois made it illegal! He was caught stealing presents from people’s homes and regifting to his own family!  He even returned some of the gifts he stole  to the store to receive cash back and then proceeded to buy his own family presents with the stolen cash. He was trying to give his own family a great Christmas, but apparently didn’t care about ruining others.
