When Jason Aldean was recently asked about crossing over from the music world to the acting world, he wanted to try it and see if he liked it, but apparently he already tried it and like it! Prior to that he said, “It’s one of those things that I would want to ease into, maybe try it out, have a couple small parts or something, just to see if it’d be something that I’d even be interested in.”

As it turns out Jason must have enjoyed whatever he tried because we are now learning that he’ll star in an action western film called ‘Sweetwater’ along side Ed Harris and January Jones. The film is set to debut this January at the Sundance Film Festival. Looks like our boy is already getting the acting bug and we’ll just have to wait and see if he lands any bigger roles.
