Coaches & Artists Of ‘The Voice’ Pay Tribute To Sandy Hook Victims With “Hallelujah”

Last night The Voice coaches and artists paid tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting by opening the live finals show with a very moving rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

Candles lit the stage at their feet as they held up the Newtown elementary school’s victim’s names on cards as they sang. Each of the coaches, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green took turns with a solo part, while The Voice artists sang chorus in the background.

Many of us are in shock and left feeling helpless following the horrific tragedy that struck the tight knit community of Newtown, Connecticut, this past Friday.

A lot of questions still remain unanswered, but if you’d like to offer support or help, we have put together a list of resources.
