Eileen is an 11-year-old who after her friend Kinley was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia, this sweet and big-hearted little girl wanted to reach out and help other children in the fight with cancer. While battling cancers children often lose their hair which can be a huge deal to them. True Hope dolls ( both girl and boy dolls) by MGA cost $14.99 each, and were made to help these kids feel beautiful even when bald! Eileen decided to try to get dolls to visit kids locally and give them a doll. After creating a Facebook page, and being featured on the news, her project has grown by leaps and bounds and Eileen also plans to visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and deliver as many dolls to the kids there too! Here is how YOU can help….
Eileen hopes to take this project which earned her a Silver Girl Scout service award as far as possible and with the help of donations keep donating more dolls. You can help NOW, by clicking Eileen’s online donation page and easily make a donation to Eileen’s True Hope Project!
If anyone wants to donate a doll directly to Eileen, you can email Eileen’s mom (Amy) directly at Karamakorn@aol.com, for their address and info on how Eileen now has goal to get a doll to each state.
If you have a child battling cancer or alopecia , please send Eileen and mom Amy a message us on the “Eileen’s True Hope” Facebook page and they say they will do their best to get a doll out to them too while their supplies last.
