It’s that time of the year, when little kids are busy practicing for the annual ‘Christmas play’ at school or at church! And they are always so darn cute, with at least one kid who is so terrified to go onstage that you can see the teacher or director trying to gently nudge them forward from the side of the stage, or the ‘little ham‘ who steals the show! You would think that one of today’s biggest stars in country music would have been ‘the ham’ when he was a kid, but for Kenny Chesney is was quite the opposite when he made his debut at the Christmas play in school!

Kenny Chesney must have been one of the ‘shy kids’ when he was little, and thank goodness he got over that stage fright. Kenny recalls that fist time onstage and how he was more of a wallflower than  a shining star with the lead part in his childhood Christmas play!
