78 Year Old Grandma From Taylor Gets An 8-Point Buck!

Nancy Shensky, a 78-year-old grandmother from Taylor Michigan is quite the hunter and she’s been doing it for 50 years! In those years she’s bagged 45-50 deer with her most recent kill being a beautiful 8 point buck. Nancy told WDIV she began hunting while dating her husband and when he lost his hunting partners she said, “I’ll hunt with you,’ and he said, ‘You will? Nancy said ‘Yeah!’ and her husband handed her a .22 rifle and said, ‘You’re a natural.”

Nancy gets a kick out of showing off and talking about her “rack” as she called it with a laugh. One of the most impressive things about this story is that she even guts the deer by herself! That’s one awesome grandma.

Check out the pictures and video here.

When hearing about this story I couldn’t help but think of the classic Christmas song by Elmo & Patsy – Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. This Michigan grandma won’t be getting run over. She’ll shoot em down!
