Man Spoils Kid’s Dream Of Santa – Then Gets Arrested!

Just because you don’t believe in Santa doesn’t mean you should ruin the hopes of little kids that Santa Claus is coming to their house in less than a month to bring them presents.  Well, one man in Canada did just that, and not too long after, he got arrested!  Take that Mr. Scrooge!

According to the Toronto Star, a 24 year old man was attending a Christmas parade in Kingston, Ontario when the float with Santa on it went by.  At this point, he turned to a bunch of little kids and let them know that Santa was not real.  Someone was so mad that they called the police.  And when the police got on the scene, they arrested him!  OK, maybe he was arrested for public intoxication, but we all know the REAL reason he got arrested!  Now, just because you don’t believe in Santa, or you are too much of a mess to realize what you are doing, there is still no reason to shoot down the dreams of little kids like that!

According to the Toronto Star, police officer said the man’s hair was gelled to, quote, “look like a set of devil horns” and that he’s, quote, “pretty despicable [to] tell kids Santa isn’t real.”

What do you think?  Should this guy be able to say what he wants, or did he get what he deserves?  Read more at TheStar.com
