Las Vegas itself is quite a spectacle, but they probably never saw anything like they did on Wednesday, when Shania Twain arrived on horseback for a two-year headline gig at Caesars Palace. But it was not just Shania riding solo down the busy Vegas strip on horseback, she arrived in grand style with a herd of 40 horses. Promoters called the event a ‘stampede‘ as 9 wranglers escorted Twain to a crowd of several hundred people in front of the famous Caesars fountains!
Shania proved she is “Still The One,” with her famous song blasting on the outdoor speaker system as Shania arrived. Las Vegas police, including several on horseback, diverted traffic on the busy casino corridor for about 30 minutes for the spectacle.
Her new Vegas show, titled “Shania: Still the One”, opens December 1st at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. If the show is anything like her arrival, this might be the ‘one to see’ if you take a trip soon to the city that never sleeps!
