Brad Paisley Cow Project Update: A Happy Reunion With The African Masai Tribe

The baby cows just arrived to the Masai camp and they are out grazing now by the swamp. How did they arrive you ask?

Well they were not delivered by truck.  They were simply walked or herded in the direction of the tribe. It was funny watching the owner try and keep them all moving in the same direction.

I brought some non-toxic children’s paint to paint the names on the cows. It was funny watching them catch the cows, but they didn’t mind. I even painted Joe Don’s toenails white. (See Photos here!) It was very funny and I think the Masai people must think I am insane.

The Masai were very happy on my return. They have been waiting for me by the road for 2 days. Watching every car to see if I was in one of them. They are so excited to get a cow. They didn’t know they were getting 4 of them.

The Masai tribe was very excited to get their ‘Brad Paisley’ back!  They do love him! Watch their celebratory dance in the video below:

A couple years ago they had a very bad drought and lost most of their cattle. They are trying to build back the herd. In Kenya a man’s wealth and how attractive they are to the opposite sex are determined by how many cows they own. I have been telling the ladies I own 50 cows.  Yeah, I know you men have cow envy. Ha!

The lady I married in a FAKE Masai wedding [PHOTOS] was not there. I wanted to clarify “FAKE” Dr. Don. I am not really married nor have I ever been. Anyway she re-married and now lives in another camp. I am not disappointed, there are plenty of Masai women in the sea. The Masai mother of the girl I “married” made some gifts for me.  The tribe will present me with the gifts tomorrow.

Just an FYI, I recommend you not wear black on a safari if you ever try one. I thought it would look better on camera. I am waiting any second now for me to burst into flames. I think it’s in the upper 80’s but feels like 120 degrees. We are 185 miles south of the equator and I am very white. I am off to search for sunscreen. TTYL
