Brad Paisley Cow Project Update! Thanks To Rascal Flatts, Now Buying 4 Cows!
Jambo! That’s “Hello” in Swahili. Landed in Nairobi, about ready to lose my mind.
The seat I was sitting in had two kids behind me kicking the seat and screaming the entire 8 1/2 hours. The flight was so long, but the good news is the flight was not full. I got a row of seats to myself so I took advantage of it and laid down and slept some.
Nairobi is a very dangerous place. More so than I thought. The hotel went through the bags and searched the taxi, even under the hood for bombs. I guess a few weeks ago the hotel across the street had a bomb go off. NICE.
When Josh, the camera guy and I got to the room, it was a bit of a shock. It was the size of a walk in closet. Just to show you I am not joking here is a picture of our tiny twin beds. They are 2 feet away from each other.
It’s after 12 midnight here. We will be getting picked up in the morning … well in 4 hours to drive another 4 1/2 hours to the Masai tribe. Oh, and I will be going cow shopping. Not only do I have to buy a cow for Brad Paisley, now I have to buy one for each of the Rascal Flatts guys, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney.
Guess I better get some sleep. I am so tired I can’t even think. I didn’t think you could ever get so tired you feel physically sick. I have been up since 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning and it is now Thursday here. We are still not there yet. My back is knotted and kinked beyond repair.
I am up tying this blog and look what Josh is doing. Sleeping like a baby. Damn him. I am jealous. I better go shower and get ready for the morning.
