Welcome to Amsterdam. It’s late morning here and the airport is a zoo!
Lots to see and look at. I love the tulips they sell here. Three of my favorite things in life you can find in Amsterdam. No, not what your thinking. Tulips, Dutch ladies and of course, Cheese. Odd combo I know.
When I landed I saw a really cool spa. Yeah, a spa at the airport. I got a killer foot massage from Juta. She was a super nice lady from Thailand.
As I was walking to the next gate to Nairobi I had to laugh. Right there in the middle of Duty Free was a Victoria’s Secret. How many people want panties deliveried to them on the flight? I went in and had a funny conversation with Isabella. She tells me this is the first Victoria’s Secret in Europe, and at an airport no less. Crazy.
Well I stopped off at the Fine Foods store where they have everything from fish to caviar. I wanted to get Jack Shell a gift because we all know how he loves good food. I figured I better wait to get him some cheese or by the time I get back to Detroit it’s going to smell like Dr. Don’s socks.
I am running to the gate now, off to Nairobi. Wheels up in 20 minutes. Talk to you when I land. Then it’s off to cow shop!
