Jerrod Niemann Stands Up For Jason Aldean

The Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald talk with Jerrod Niemann about his new album, “Free The Music” which is in stores now. Jerrod has been touring the country promoting his new album and when asked if he is going to be takin a little break, Jerrod says “No we’re going full speed ahead through mid-December. The first day I have off is Thanksgiving, and that’s the way I like it.”

The first single off the new album is called “Shinin’ On Me” and is fastly climbing the country charts. Jerrod has been working on this album for a couple of years now saying, “I’m very excited. We worked on it for a couple of years, just tweaking this and adding that and so of course, I’m glad to get it out of my head and out to everyone else.”

One of Jerrod Niemann’s buddies is Jason Aldean and with the recent stories of Jason and former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr, Jerrod stands up for his buddy saying, “I obviously heard about Jason and the truth is, everyone makes mistakes and what made me definitely proud of him was when he came out and talked to his fans and just said, hey this is the truth, I made a mistake, I’m going to work through it with my family, instead of just saying, oh that’s not true, this didn’t happen. He was just honest and I really respect that and I’m sure he feels horrible and it sounds like he’s on the right track.”
