Taylor Swift To Countdown To New Album With iTunes And ‘Good Morning America’

Taylor Swift is set to slowly unveil her latest album release, Red, song by song, beginning Monday, September 24th.

While the full album will not be in stores until October 22nd, a new track will be available exclusively through the iTunes store each week, leading up to the release date.

In addition, each of the four songs released in advance will be previewed in :30 snippets that will be introduced by Taylor, on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Here is the schedule, to help you sort out the Taylor Swift madness:

1. September 24th: Song #1 will be previewed on GMA between 7 – 9 a.m. ET/PT
September 25th: Song #1 is available on iTunes at 12:01 a.m.

2. October 1st: Song #2 will be previewed on GMA between 7 – 9 a.m. ET/PT
October 2nd: Song #2 is available on iTunes at 12:01 a.m.

3. October 8th: Song #3 will be previewed on GMA between 7 – 9 a.m. ET/PT
October 9th: Song #3 is available on iTunes at 12:01 a.m.

4. October 15th: Song #4 will be previewed on GMA between 7 – 9 a.m. ET/PT
October 16th: Song #4 is available on iTunes at 12:01 a.m.

October 22nd: Red is officially in stores, and Taylor will appear on Good Morning America for the album’s launch.
October 23rd: Taylor will return to Good Morning America for a live concert!

Phew! Got all that?

The first single from Red, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” is available on iTunes now! Already a record-breaking hit, the single has reigned 3 weeks (so far) at No.1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart, has reached No.1 at iTunes in 32 countries and set a new record for the biggest digital sales week ever for a female artist.

In addition, Taylor Swift has released “Ronan” as performed on Stand Up 2 Cancer special, also available on iTunes with proceeds to benefit cancer charities.
