You may be saying “WHAT?” Marriage is supposed to be 50/50, at least that is what we have been told. But if you expect that kind of division in your marriage, you will probably find yourself terribly disappointed. A truly successful marriage is really a 90/10 split, where sometimes you are the 90, sometimes you are the 10.  As long as it goes back and forth it works. When it is always one person giving the 90% is when there will be trouble in paradise..

Blogger Karl Pillemer recently interviewed 1,000 couples hoping to understand why some marriages last for decades while others falter. Pillemer discovered that marriage is not a 50/50 proposition. It’s a 90/10.
