If you’re pregnant, one of the last places you should be is drinking at the bar, but what if you don’t know you’re pregnant yet? It may sound like a crazy idea, but Pub 500 in Mankato, Minnesota is the first bar to install a pregnancy test dispenser in the woman’s bathroom. Jody Allen Crowe, the man who installed the dispenser and the founder of Healthy Brains for Children hopes to lower the rate of fetal alcohol syndrome by installing pregnancy dispensers in bars, gas stations, and gyms for a discounted price.

Obviously I cannot speak for a woman, but I’m assuming most women would want to take their pregnancy test in the privacy of their own home, not in a bar or gas station bathroom. I can just picture it now. My girlfriend and I are having some beers at the bar and she excuses herself to go to the ladies room. She then comes running out saying “I’m pregnant, I’m pregnant!” That would be the worst trip to the bar ever!
