‘Toe Shortening Surgery’ To Look Better In Heels?

Are you serious? I cannot believe that women would go through a painful surgery just to look better in heels, but apparently they are! A number of women are opting to undergo a range of extreme new procedures in a bid to look better in their high heels. ‘Toe-shortening surgery‘ is now being offered, along with injectable cushioning in the soles of the foot and even Botox, to prevent excess sweating. I have always taken great pride in my feet, making sure my toe nails are nice and polished, but there is no way I would ever go through surgery to make them look better! How about YOU?

One heel-lover says that she will have a treatment to replace the natural cushioning in the soles of her feet so that her towering shoes are less painful to wear. But who would really go to the extreme of having their toes ‘shortened’ just t look better?   Wouldn’t  it be easier to just buy more comfortable shoes?

Would you ever consider toe shortening surgery? Why? Why not?
