Facebook quietly added a new feature to its mobile website and apps over the weekend. It’s called “Find Friends Nearby” and it does exactly what you’d think it might.You can access Find Friends Nearby either through the iOS or Android Facebook apps — just open up the main menu, tap “Apps,” select “Find Friends,” press “Other Tools,” and then pick “Find Friends Nearby”. So in other words, you are basically ‘trolling’ on Facebook to find people who live close to you!

Would you accept a friend request from a total stranger just because they ‘live close to you?’ What if they are a total freak? And how scary would it be to know that this person you don’t even know lives nearby and could somehow find exactly where you live too? I personally think this is a creepy new app….and could lead to big trouble. Especially for younger people who are more trusting by nature. What do you think about this??
