Country stars Luke Bryan and Kellie Pickler are among the performers slated to sing during the upcoming MLB All-Star Game, which takes place next week in Kansas City. Luke will sing the National Anthem at the start of the game. Kellie will then sing “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch.
Other performers include this year’s American Idol winner Phillip Phillips, who will sing “Home” in honor of tornado victims in Joplin, Missouri and Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

And on Monday (July 9), the Zac Brown Band will perform as part of the Home Run Derby, along with another Idol alum, David Cook.
It’s good timing for the ZBB, as the group’s new album, Uncaged, hits stores the same day as the All Star Game (July 10). (No word yet on whether Zac’s alter-ego, Robo Redneck, will make an appearance.)
And Bryan is celebrating his second week in a row at Number One on the Country Songs chart, for his single “Drunk On You.”
The 2012 All-Star Game takes places Tuesday, July 10 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
