As Brad Paisley’s summer tour continues to storm across North America, Brad is taking a brief time out this week to perform July 4 at the White House.
The show is the fourth annual “Salute to the Military” USO concert, and among the festivities (barbecue, family-friendly games, fireworks) is a concert by the U.S. Marine Band and an hour-long show featuring Paisley.
“The Fourth of July has always been about family, freedom and celebration,” Paisley said in a statement about the event. “I am so honored to be spending my holiday performing a USO concert for our troops and their families and to be celebrating those freedoms with the men and women who put everything on the line to defend them.”
The audience is expected to include more than 1,200 troops and military families, as well as President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Don’t worry if you didn’t get an invite, though. The concert will be streamed live on the White House website. Start time is 8pm ET/5pm PT.
