Move over Toby Keith! Zac Brown Band plans to join the likes of Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill by opening their own restaurant and bar in Nashville. ZBB recently opened a new recording studio in Music City and Zac Brown says, “We’re coming to Nashville, we want to exceed expectations.” The studio is the first step towards the restaurant and bar the band eventually wants to open. Although we may have to wait a few to try the food, Zac is already pretty famous for his cooking skills. They even offer fans what they call “eat-and-greets” before their shows. “We want to be known for doing things differently. When you feed somebody a great meal, they remember it. We are one of the people, and when we get to sit and eat with our fans, it’s a reminder to them and to ourselves that we’re no different than they are even though we’re up on stage,” says Brown.
There’s no expected date for the restaurant and bar to open, but the band is taking their Southern Ground Music and Food Festival to Riverfront Park in Nashville in September where fans will enjoy food, music, and entertainment for two days! Looks like I may have to start planning a road trip. There’s nothing better than live music, and great food to accompany it.
We do however have a date set for Zac Brown Band’s new album, ‘Uncaged’, which will drop on July 10th.
