High-end designers are now making heels for little girls, and parents are buying them. The craze began over three years ago when Tom and Katie Cruise’s daughter, Suri, was seen wearing a pair of gold, low-heeled shoes for the first time three years ago, it seems heels for little girls outside the dress-up box are becoming increasingly popular.
I personally think this is a su[er BAD idea. High heels for little girls ‘playing dress-up’ at home with their little friends is fine and dandy, but allowing very young girls to dress up like grown women in high heels out in public is NOT OK!
While the shoes are advertised as being for toddlers and youth, the size chart correlates to girls aged between six and ten years old.
What are your thoughts, too soon for these little girls to be wearing high heels?
