Luke Bryan Gets His Momma An iPad

Luke Bryan chatted with the Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald recently and he shared with us an experience with buying his momma an iPad. Luke says, “You know, she was on my butt for like 6 months over an iPad.” So Luke takes his momma to the Apple Store in Nashville and he said that alone was a crazy trip, “She wants to turn a shopping experience into like a Disney World trip. She wanted to meet all of the sales associates and get to know them on a personal level.”

Luke Bryan went on to say that basically he gave his momma a way to snoop on him. When asked if she’s getting on Facebook, Luke says, “Well, she’s doing all of that, she gets the Google Alerts, if I say a cuss word on Twitter, she calls me saying that I shouldn’t be saying that.”

Luke also talked about his time on the Bachelorette. Luke says, “When the opportunity arises where you can play your current single in front of 20 Million viewers, I don’t think you can turn that down. We enjoyed it.We taped it in one night, it was good.”  Doc asks why there wasn’t that many people out on the streets, Luke says, “During the day about 200 people assembled and after we did the recording, we kicked into Country Girl and everybody got in the streets and started dancing, it was fun.”

Luke Bryan’s current single “Drunk On You” became his 3rd consecutive platinum single and can heard all the time right here on 99.5 WYCD!
