Today’s New Music Spotlight is on Rascal Flatts who’s sophomore album for Big Machine is chock full of fun songs and ballads, which have become the cornerstone of the trio’s amazing career.
Of Changed, Gary LeVox says, “You know, it‟s a new season for Rascal Flatts. We‟ve got a decade behind us where we did some wonderful things with some wonderful people, you know, so we truly feel like a new act. I mean, we love everything we‟ve done in the past but we‟re so rejuvenated and fired up and it‟s just a blast! It‟s so exciting right now to have this album done and complete and I think Changed is maybe one of the greatest bodies of work that represents us completely on where we sit today and where we stand as people and as artists and it was a gift, this album, and we couldn‟t be more proud of it.””
Gary went on to tell Jack Shell that “Come Wake Me Up‟ is one of the first songs we put on hold for this album, and, you know, we‟ve been so fortunate to have great ballads. This is another one that I think you‟re really gonna enjoy. It‟s one of our favorites and it‟s a melody that you won‟t be able to get out of your head.”
