Everybody loves their local county fair…and the totally unhealthy ‘fair food’ that goes right along with it! Where else can you get deep-fried funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy along with the traditional hot dog & soda pop? It seems like everyone is competing now to make the most sugary, unique and deep-fried fair food that is like a heart attack on a stick! Last year I heard about ‘deep-fried donuts‘ and ‘chocolate-covered bacon‘ making the rounds on the fair circuit. Well there is a new deep-fried concoction that may be coming to your local fair this year….

Just the thought of deep-fried, sugary Trix or Cinnamon Toast Crunch makes my arteries cringe! I am not that big on deep-fried food to begin with, so maybe it’s just me! What about YOU…are you a deep-fried food lover? Would you try deep-fried sugary cereal?
