Kenny Chesney Streams, Talks About Songs From ‘Welcome To The Fishbowl’

Anticipation has been high for Welcome to the Fishbowl, the upcoming album from country superstar Kenny Chesney. You’ve heard the singles “Come Over” and “Feel Like a Rockstar” (the latter with Tim McGraw); you’ve seen the cover art; maybe you’ve caught one of his recent tour dates; and you’ve watched the ‘sexy booty call’ video for his current single “Come Over.”

Now you can preview eight of the album’s twelve tracks on Kenny’s website.

In addition to hearing the Welcome to the Fishbowl songs, fans can also sign in to unlock special videos and even sign up to win prizes. These include album bundles, iTunes gift cards, a guitar, and even a grand prize beach getaway.

On top of that, in a section called ‘The Story Behind the Song,’ the site has several videos featuring Kenny himself talking about the concept behind Fishbowl and its music in greater detail.

With the title track, for instance, he says, “It would be easy for someone to think that I was writing the song about being a victim of celebrity. But it’s not that way. I think that our world is changing every single day…for everyone. And now more than ever, you don’t have to be in the public eye to live in a fishbowl. We all do now. So I wanted to write a very relatable song about…how we’re all trying to navigate through it together.”

Welcome to the Fishbowl hits stores and digital outlets on Tuesday, June 19.

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw are currently traveling the country on their Brothers of the Sun tour.
