The tour bus for singer Bucky Covington crashed yesterday (May 10) on I-65 in Alabama near Birmingham.
The Cullman, Alabama Times reports that no one on the tour bus was injured, and that Covington himself was not on the bus at the time. He’d been dropped off for a radio interview. The driver of the other vehicle, however, a Goodwill truck, was taken to a local hospital.
A onetime American Idol contestant, Covington has since hit the country charts with such hits as “A Different World,” “It’s Good to Be Us” and “A Father’s Love (The Only Way He Knew How).”
The bus received significant damage. Covington’s tour, however, will continue as planned.
