A Major Challange In The Sequel To ‘The Hunger Games’

Not only one of my favorite movies so far this year, but of the past few years, The Hunger Games was a world-wide hit at the box office.  And one of the coolest parts about it is that it’s a part of a series of books so that only means more sequels.  There is a bit of a snag for the first sequel to the movie.  One of the key players in the movie is yet to be set for the second flick!

According to Yahoo, Jennifer Lawrence, who play Katniss Everdeen, is actually not yet set with filming for the sequel to this year’s smash movie.  It’s not because she doesn’t want to be a part of it, because she does.  Jennifer actually has a prior commitment to filming the sequel to X-Men: First Class.

“Since Fox’s deal with Lawrence predates her contract for Hunger Games, X-Men is in a priority position. With the script for the second Hunger Games not yet locked, that means all preparations for a sequel would have to be done in four months — a tough schedule to meet.”
