George Strait Postpones Concert In The Middle Of The Show


[photogallerylink id=62042 align=right]Leave it to King George to give it a shot no matter how bad he feels.  At a recent show in Kansas City, George ended up postponing the show due to illness.  But George didn’t cancel the show a few days before, but waited until the day of.  The best part, it wasn’t the morning of, it was actually during the show!

According to Country Music Tattle Tale, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]George Strait[/lastfm] ended up postponing his Kansas City show until March 3, and he did so after his second song!  They said [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Martina McBride[/lastfm] did about an hour of her best tunes, and after performing “Here for a Good Time” and “I Gotta Get to You,” he ended up saying in front of 18,000 fans, “I just can’t do it.”

Even though George was sick, he still looked and sounded pretty good.
